about the "addict"

Hi...My name is Sharon !  I am a retired preschool teacher with a strong passion for arts and crafts. My husband and I have four adult children and two beloved pets.  We love traveling the East Coast in our fifth wheel with our Border Collie and our kitty.  My love for sewing began at the age of twelve and has grown into more than just a hobby.   I enjoy quilting, making bags, clothes, stuffed animals and countless other things.  My love for fabric is endless!  Nothing feels quite like taking a piece of fabric and turning it into a beautiful creation.  My growing enthusiasm of working with fabric has become a small business beginning with a hobby of making quilted ornaments . With the help of the internet, I began folding small pieces of fabric and pinning them onto styrofoam balls.  This hobby has progressed from one basic star pattern to multiple different designs.  I was asked, by many, if I would make some to sell so they could be gifted, which led to me signing up for craft fairs. I soon added other small crafts to my booth, just to add options for customers passing by.  As interest grew, I decided to add handsewn items as well as machine embroidered items to my collection.  I try not to limit myself to anything when it comes to sewing as there is always room to grow and I feel quite comfortable saying....yeah... "I can totally make that !"
